Colorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon keeps hitting. And hitting. And hitting.

Chuck Nazty banged out three more hits in the Rockies 8-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night.

Blackmon is on a historic roll. He has three or more hits in five consecutive games and is only the 12th Major League player since 1901 to accomplish that feat.

His double leading off the game kickstarted the Rockies 12-hit attack. Nolan Arenado blasted a two-run home run three batters after Blackmon doubled to give the Rockies a 2-0 lead.

Colorado broke the game open with a four-run sixth inning, highlighted by Ryan McMahon's two-run double.

Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela turned in 6-and-two-thirds terrific innings, allowing onoy one run on seven hits with four walks and five strikeouts.

The Rockies win their sixth straight game over the Diamondbacks and start their nine-game, N.L. West road trip with a victory.
