By any account, 2018-19 was a terrific season for the Denver Nuggets.

They returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2013 thanks to a 54-28 regular season. That was good enough for the second seed in a strong Western Conference.

The Nuggets beat the San Antonio Spurs, 4-3, in the first round of the playoffs before falling to the Portland Trail Blazers in game seven of the Western Conference semifinals.

Now, the Nuggets turn their attention to the offseason and focus on ways of trying to become an elite team in the NBA.

On Tuesday, May 21, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone and President of Basketball Operations Tim Connelly wrapped up the 2018-19 season and looked ahead to the offseason and beyond when they spoke with reporters.
