Rams Run Past Broncos, 23-20

Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley piled up a career-high 208 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead the Rams over the Denver Broncos, 23-20, Sunday at Broncos Stadium at Mile High.

Gurley scored on a ten-yard run to give the Rams a 13-3 lead in the third quarter.

His second score, a one-yard run, came with 6:09 left in the third quarter and put the Rams up, 20-3.

The Broncos rallied.

Case kennum hit Emmanuel Sanders on a 22-yard touchdown pass to get the lead down to 20-10 with 1:34 left in the third.

Later, Keenum found Demaryius Thomas on a one-yard TD pass with 1:22 left to pull Denver within 23-20.

The Rams recovered the onside kick and ran out the clock.

Broncos guard Ron Leary left the game with what the team fears is a torn Achilles tendon.
