Chris Taylor drilled a solo home run to left with one out in the bottom of the tenth inning to give the Los Angeles Dodgers a 3-2 win over the Colorado Rockies at Dodger Stadium.

The win pushes the Dodgers lead to one-and-a-half games over the Rockies in the N.L. West.

Taylor went deep off Rockies reliever Adam Ottavino, whose record slips to 6.4

Rockies starter Kyle Freeland matched up beautifully with Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers. Freeland went six-and-two-thirds innings and allowed two runs on five hits with four walks and four strikeouts.

Kershaw lasted seven innings while giving up two runs (one earned) on three hits with five walks and three strikeouts.

The Rockies offense continued to struggle. Colorado could only get four hits in ten innings.

The third and final game of the series is Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
