Thursday, the Pro Football Hall of Fame Contributors Committee voted Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen and former Dallas Cowboys executive Gil Brandt Hall of Fame as finalists for the Class of 2019.
Both individuals now need at least 80 percent of the full committee to vote for them to ensure enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
That vote will be held early next February, the day before the Super Bowl. It is usually a rubber-stamp approval of the recommendation of the Contributors Committee.
