After the Denver Broncos wrapped up training camp with a joint practice with the Chicago Bears on Thursday, August 16 at UCHealth Training Center in Englewood, Broncos President of Football Operations/GM John Elway spoke with reporters on a wide number of topics, including the need to play better in this Saturday's preseason game against the Bears, various position groups and the back-up quarterback spot for the Broncos.

Elway would not speculate on the future of the Broncos' current third-string quarterback Paxton Lynch, who lost the number two spot on the depth chart to Chad Kelly last Monday.

Elway was much more forthcoming, however, when he was asked if Colin Kaepernick could be a viable option as a back-up quarterback for the Broncos.

Listen to that response and Elway's full remarks below.
