Rockies Unload On Diamondbacks, 19-2

Well that was fun.

The Colorado Rockies stormed out of the gate and never let up in a 19-2 blowout of the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday night at Coors Field.

Carlos Gozalez hit two home runs and drove in six; Ian Desmond had a home run and five RBIs. The Rockies slugged five home runs, including the first career long ball for pitcher German Marquez.

Marquez went six innings to get the win and even his record at 8-8.

The Rockies snapped nine-game home losing streak to the D'backs.
