Rockies Unload On Giants, 11-4

The bats are heating up in a big way.

The Colorado Rockies belted out seven extra base hits and routed the San Francisco Giants 11-4 Tuesday night at Coors Field.

The Rockies piled up five doubles, a triple and David Dahl's pinch-hit home run in making it two straight wins over the Giants.

Five different Rockies had at least two hits and six different players drove in at least one run.

When everything was said and done, the Rockies had amassed 15 hits.

Kyle Freeland went 5-and-a-third innings and gave up three runs on eight hits and picked up the win to even his record at 5-5.

The Rockies go for the sweep on Wednesday night. Coverage starts at 6 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
