And for the Colorado Rockies, it took 12 innings to beat the San Francisco Giants 5-3 on Monday night at AT&T Park in San Francisco.

Carlos Gonzalez's two-run single brought home Chris Iannetta and Charlie Blackmon. Wade Davis shut the door on the Giants in the bottom of the 12th to record his 16th save of the season.

The Rockies and Giants go at it in game two of the series Friday night. Coverage starts at 7:35 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
