Might as well get used to it.

The Colorado Rockies can pitch.

Kyle Freeland delivered his fifth consecutive quality start to lead the Rockies to a 6-1 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Freeland went six-and-two-thirds innings and gave up only a run on five hits with just one walk and five strikeouts.

Ian Desmond showed signs of life offensively, going 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs. His three-run home run in the fourth got the Rockies on the scoreboard.

Charlie Blackmon added a two-run shot in the top of the ninth inning to give the Rockies some insurance runs.

The Rockies will look to make it three straight wins over the Giants and they will send Jon Gray to the mound on Saturday to go against San Francisco's Chris Stratton. Coverage starts with Rockies All-Acces at 12:05 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
