Denver Police use a Copsicle Cruiser to Connect with Kids

Denver police officers are getting "cool" with the community. They have what's called a "Copsicle Cruiser' to bring free ice cream to kids in low income neighborhoods. Chief Paul Pazen said the officers came up with the idea as a way for to connect with the kids. They'll take the truck out at least eight times a month. Pazen said it's part of his department's campaign to build relationships with kids. That includes programs like the Bridging the Gap program for Kids and Cops and the Teen Empowerment Program that helps teenagers get jobs.
