Denver Police Officer Fired For Making Inappropriate Remarks To Intern

A Denver police officer has been fired from his job after allegedly making inappropriate remarks to an intern during a ride along. The police department confirms that Officer Jeremy Ownbey was let go at the end of last month after the female intern talked to a program coordinator about the incident. Ownbey reportedly called her a prostitute in front of a hotel desk clerk and made other inappropriate remarks during the eight-hour ride along. Ownbey is appealing his termination.
