Bill Banning Conversion Therapy Heads To Governor's Desk

Legislation banning so-called conversion therapy in Colorado is now sitting on the desk of Governor Jared Polis. Three Republicans voted with Democrats to pass the bill on its final reading in the state Senate yesterday. The new law would ban licensed therapy professionals from attempting to change a minor's sexual orientation or gender identity. This is the fifth time this type of legislation has been introduced at the State Capitol.
