DPS Teachers Walk Off The Job Today

Denver Public Schools teachers will be on the picket lines today, in the district's first strike in more than two decades. The union walked out of talks over the weekend after another offer from the district. The Denver Classroom Teachers Association says it's stunning that DPS would table a proposal that hiked incentives instead of putting more money to base pay. Talks between the two sides could resume as soon as tomorrow.
