Governor Jared Polis joined an exclusive group as he was sworn in on the west steps of the State Capitol as Colorado's 43rd Governor. Governor Polis, a Democrat, becomes the first openly-gay governor in the country. Polis was joined by his family for official photos on the day of his inauguration.
