Deadlines approaching for Holiday packages

This is the busiest time of year for the United States Postal Service.  Spokesman David Rupert says 200-million packages will be handled next week alone.  He says the deadlines to get your packages delivered by Christmas are quickly approaching.  For the inexpensive ground delivery packages you must get them to the post office by December 14th.  Cards and letters must be out by December 19th.  Express mail packages can wait until December 22nd.  Rupert also advises you to make sure your box is strong enough to handle the mail.  He says if you use Priority mail the boxes are free.
