Check out reusable coffee cups in Boulder

There's a new way to get your coffee in some Boulder cafes.  It's actually just a new cup.  It's a reusable stainless steel cup that you can check out from a non-profit company called Vessel-Works.  The idea is to cut down on the number of paper and plastic cups we use.  Vessel Works co-founder Dagne Tucker says you have to give your credit card information when you check out the cup and then if you return the cup within five days you won't be charged.  Then you can check out another cup the next time you get coffee. If you keep it longer than the five days you'll be be charged $15.00 to keep the cup.   Right now you can find Vessel kiosks at two cafes on the Boulder mall but Tucker says they'll soon be expanding to two more cafes.
