Hancock Exploring New Min Wage For City Employees

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock is taking a look at increasing the paychecks of the lowest-earning city employees.  He's directing finance officials to explore a possible 15-dollar-an-hour minimum wage for those serving Denver.  Hancock says the city's economy is among the strongest in the country, but wages haven't kept up with the cost of living.  Findings and recommendations on a phased-in wage hike will be presented to the mayor early next year.
