Police in Greeley have arrested a man on attempted second-degree murder charges. The charges are related to the shooting Friday morning of a teenage girl. Police arrested Daniel Atencio, 22, after what they suspect was a drug deal gone bad. Three boys had driven the girl to North Colorado Medical Center. She'd been shot in the side. The Greeley Tribune reports Atencio remains in the Weld county jail. The unidentified girl was treated and released.
