The Denver Rescue Mission is putting out the call for turkeys. The Mission needs 15,000 frozen turkeys to feed the homeless and the needy.
The turkeys are used for the Rescue Missions annual Thanksgiving banquet and are also placed into food baskets for low income families. Churches and local service organizations are also given turkeys to distribute.
