A new poll shows Democrat Jared Polis with a seven point lead over Republican Walker Stapleton.
Magellan Strategies and Keating Research joined forces to survey 600 likely Colorado voters between September 18th and 20th. The poll has Polis at 47 percent to Stapleton's 40 percent. 11 percent of voters are undecided. The poll has a margin or error of 4 points.
KOA political analyst, Floyd Ciruli, says Stapleton is down but not out. He has to convert undecided voters and wavering unaffiliated voters who often wait to the last minute to decide how they will vote.
Colorado voters will start receiving mail-in ballot in two weeks.
