Seaman Fire 25 Percent Contained

The Seaman Fire burning west of Fort Collins has grown to 150 acres, prompting voluntary evacuations of the Smith Bridge area.

It's being fueled by grass, brush and conifers near the Hewlett burn scar.

The Forest Service said crews made good progress on the fire Wednesday.  Light winds and substantial air support allowed firefighters to get 25 percent containment on the fire that was sparked by lightning.
