Tax Increase For Mental Health Makes Denver Ballot

Denver voters will be deciding on a key ballot measure in November which deals with mental health and addiction.  The Caring 4 Denver initiative was qualified for the ballot yesterday with more than enough valid petition signatures.  The measure would provide around 45-million-dollars a year in new funding for prevention, treatment and other services.  That money will be raised by a one-quarter-of-one-percent sales tax increase.
