Update: Investigators Believe Explosion Suspicious

Investigators are calling yesterday's explosion at a Baker neighborhood apartment building suspicious.  They're back on the scene this morning.  That's after brick and wood debris from the four-plex were scattered across Santa Fe Drive and W. 4th Avenue.

"It was kind of like a cannon going off," one witness said.  "I haven't heard anything explode that loud in my life.  It was crazy.  Everything fell from the ceilings in my office because of the rumble."

Some people rushed to help victims trapped in the rubble.

"They were laying in bed," witness Alex McMahill said.  "I helped get the door off of them and helped the lady, helped bring her out."

The Denver Fire Department reported nine people were injured, two of them were taken to Denver Health. One is listed in critical condition, the other is stable.
