Roundabouts Coming to West Highland

Bicyclists in Denver's West Highland neighborhood may have safer travels ahead. Denver Public Works is installing the city's first traffic circles, or "roundabouts," in that area. Officials say cars and bicyclists will use the roundabouts at three intersections on 35th Ave.: at Newton, Julian, and Raleigh streets.  The roundabouts will stay in place at those intersections through this coming winter. If they prove to be effective at making bike travel safer, they'll be made permanent.
