The sinkhole on Oxford Street in Sheridan opened during driving rainstorm on Tuesday night in the Denver Metro Area. One car is now at the bottom of that sinkhole. The driver was able to jump to safety just before her car was lost in the sinkhole. Drivers can expected delays on Oxford between River Point and South Santa Fe for at least a couple of days as repairs are made.
