Colorado Congressman Mike Coffman is demanding action from new Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie. He was confirmed to the post yesterday by the Senate. Coffman says unless Wilkie fires senior VA leaders who have consistently failed veterans, he will never change "the culture of bureaucratic incompetence" that's plagued the VA. The Congressman has been long critical of the department over the cost overruns and delays related to its new hospital in Aurora, as well as wait times for care.
