Following an extensive investigation, the Parker Police Department has recommended charges against Abraham Paquet in the May 22 shooting at Parker Road and Crown Crest Boulevard.
Authorities believe Paquet pulled alongside the victim’s vehicle on the E-470 exit ramp at Parker Road and fired multiple shots at the victims car, striking the driver once in his left hand.
Mr. Paquet, 29, faces charges of Attempted First Degree Murder, First Degree Assault with a Deadly Weapon, First Degree Assault Extreme Indifference, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm and Possession of a Weapon by a Previous Offender.
Charges have also been recommended against Tara Doxtater, 25, as an Accessory to the Crime. Doxtater was in the vehicle when the alleged incident occurred. Both suspects are currently in custody.
