Work is getting underway on Denver International Airport's Great Hall project. Security screening will be moved to the hallways near the ticket counters. The center space of the main terminal will add more restaurants, shops and public seating.
After 9-11 security has taken up the majority of the 1.5 million square-foot Jeppesen main terminal. The new design will speed up security screening and allow the airport to add additional revenue.
