The hottest day of the year so far

Denver hit 100 degrees on Thursday afternoon making it the hottest day of the year so far.  However, National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Kalina says it's not a record.  That is 102 degrees set in 1990.  We are expected to break a record Friday when Kalina says Denver will hit 102 degrees.  That breaks the old record of 99 degrees set in 1986.  He says we'll cool to the 90's on Friday and into the 80's for the weekend.
