RTD will be removing the safety flaggers from certain crossings along the University of Colorado A-Line in the coming days. The move comes after federal and state regulators decided the route's automatic crossings can operate without supervision. The flaggers will be pulled from four crossings on Friday and then two more on Monday. RTD says it hopes to be able to remove them from the remaining locations in the coming weeks.
