Denver's Housing Market Takes Bigger Bite Of Pay

A new study is shedding light on the lack of affordability in the Denver housing market.  The mortgage website HSH.com shows buyers in the area would need a salary of just over 87-thousand-dollars a year to afford a home at the median price of over 441-thousand-dollars.  That's the eighth highest among the 50 largest metro areas in the nation, but a far cry from the top spot.  That belongs to San Jose, California, where buyers need to earn more than 262-thousand-dollars a year to afford a median priced home.
