Governor Hickenlooper says an executive order he is issuing can be considered a "rebuke" of the Trump Administration's policy where parents seeking asylum are separated from their children at the border. The order prevents any Colorado agency or resources from being used to support that policy.
The Governor says the practice is un-American and amounts to child abuse. The Governor says "It's hard for me to imagine that this happening in the United States at the scale it is...at any sale."
