Hancock, Williams Push for Mayors Coalition on Pot

Denver mayor Michael Hancock and Thornton mayor Heidi Williams are two of six mayors nationally advocating for the federal government to help state and local governments implement legal marijuana. The mayors are working to form a coalition that will make legalized pot and its pitfalls easier to navigate in several areas, including banking, regulation, and tax deductions. The mayors are part of the annual U.S. Conference of Mayors meeting in Boston.
