Holiday Warning: Don't Drive Drunk or Stoned

Mothers Against Drunk Driving, CDOT, the State Patrol and AAA-Colorado are reminding you to make the smart choice and leave the driving to someone else if you drink alcohol or get high over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Law enforcement agencies will be looking for impaired drivers.  Even before the summer season, impaired driving  has been a problem in 2018. The State Patrol says, since January, troopers have made more than 1,5oo impaired driving arrests and investigated 500 impaired driving crashes.

.Impaired driving  rashes are 100 percent preventable.  Instead of getting behind the wheel you're urged to let someone else do the driving.  You can grab and cab or a ride on Uber or Lyft. You can also use public transportation or have a designated driver take you home.
