After more than two decades, Chipotle is moving its headquarters out of Denver. The company says over the next six months, functions within the current Denver office will either be consolidated into an existing office in Columbus, Ohio or its new headquarters in Newport Beach California. Chipotle will also be closing its New York office as part of the transition. The chain says the move to California will help drive sustainable growth. Chipotle's first restaurant opened in Denver 25 years ago.
