Mother that scared off a bear is called a hero.

Colorado wildlife officers believe they killed the bear that attacked a five year old girl near Grand Junction early Sunday morning.  J.T. Romanski with Colorado parks and Wildlife says a necropsy will be done on the bear to make sure it's the one that attacked the girl.  She is still hospitalized in fair condition.  Romanski says the girl's mother likely saved her daughter life when she screamed and scared the bear away.
