Cherry Creek School District cancels classes because of protests.

Classes are cancelled at Cherry Creek and Adams County District 12 schools next Friday because of a teacher protest.  Cherry Creek sent out a notice to parents saying many of the teachers are planning to join their colleagues from across the State at a rally at the State Capitol.   More than 14-hundred teachers are taking leave time on April 27th. The district says with more than half of the teachers out, they decided to cancel school a week ahead of time to give parents more time to plan.
