A tip from an internet service provider leads to the arrest a Fort Collins man for child porn. Kate Kimble of Fort Collins Police Services says after an investigation, detectives confiscated several computer devices belong to 53 year old Thomas Christopher Mares of Fort Collins. Investigators say he had more than 800,000 child porn images and videos. They believe he had been collecting them for 10 to 15 years.
Mares was arrested and booked into the Larimer County Jail on 60 counts of Possession of Child Exploitative Material (class 3 felony).
