State Senate Taking Up Permitless Concealed Carry

Colorado lawmakers will be taking up a bill today, which would allow concealed handgun carry without a permit.  The measure goes in front of a state Senate committee this afternoon.  If it passes both chambers, it would apply to anyone legally possessing a weapon under state and federal law.  While it would allow the practice without a permit, the bill would preserve current laws that restrict concealed carry on school campuses.
