State Lawmakers Moving Forward With Pot Tax Fix

A bill to fix a mistake on pot taxes is heading to the state House after passage yesterday in the Senate.  It corrects a measure passed late in the 2017 session, which left special tax districts like RTD unable to collect millions of dollars in lost revenue.  Lawmakers failed to find a way forward on a solution during a special legislative session in October of last year.  The current bill appears likely to pass the Democratically-controlled House.
