Shooting has Aurora's Smokey Hill High on Secure Perimeter

Smokey Hill Safe Perimeter

Six schools in the Cherry Creek School District were on what's called a secure perimeter because of a domestic violence situation in the neighborhood.  We're told shots have been fired in the area. The Arapahoe County Sheriff has tweeted that one victim on East Hialeah has been transported to the hospital.

The schools affected were Smokey Hill High School, Laredo Middle School, and four elementary schools: Indian Ridge, Independence, Meadow Point, and Trails West.
