Bolles diagnosed with bone bruise, week-to-week

According to Broncos head coach Vance Joseph on Orange and Blue 760, tackle Garett Bolles' injury is a bone bruise, making his playing status week-to-week.

Compared to initial rumors about fears of either a broken foot or a ruptured achilles tendon (both potential worst-case scenarios), this is good news. "We dodged a bullet, in my opinion" Joseph said.

Bolles was taken off the field in a cart on Sunday afternoon after getting tangled up with Cowboys DT Brian Price, and left the stadium on crutches, with his left foot in a boot.

Both Donald Stephenson and Allen Barbre filled in for Bolles following his injury. Barbre took over for Stephenson after being cleared for a potential concussion and held the position for the remainder of Sunday's game.
