Update: Calais Campbell has decided to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
After considering Denver, Calais Campbell is going to sign a 4-year, $60 million deal that includes $30M gtd with Jacksonville, per source.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 9, 2017
According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the Broncos have made a $13M offer to DE Calais Campbell, who was reported to be signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars for $14M.
Campbell, originally from Denver, could take a slightly smaller contract to be close to family (and on a better defense). He went to Denver South High School.
Calais Campbell could take less money ($13 million per year) to go "home" to Denver; Jaguars offering more than $14m. Interesting decision.— Chris Mortensen (@mortreport) March 9, 2017
Broncos players Chris Harris Jr. and Aqib Talib have taken to twitter to recruit Campbell:
