BOULDER -- It came down to the wire, but the Colorado Buffaloes managed to pull out a 72-69 victory on Sunday over the Washington State Cougars to send seniors Zoe Correal and Brecca Thomas off on a high note in their last game at Coors Events Center.
It was a game to remember for Correal, who recorded nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds--one shy of her all-time high recorded last season at Cal--to help the Buffs win back-to-back games for the first time since December 21st.
Colorado will wrap-up the regular season with two games on the road in Los Angeles. The Buffs travel to No. 7 UCLA Thursday. Coverage starts at 8:30 p.m. Mountain Time with Buffs Warm Up with Cory Lopez and Carol Callan from Pauley Pavillion. The tip-off is set for 9:00 p.m. on 630 KHOW.
