The Colorado Buffaloes had the chance to take a step towards the top portion of the Pac-12.
The Washington Huskies wanted no part of that.
The Huskies came to Boulder and defeated the Buffaloes, 72-62, on Saturday afternoon.
The Buffs are now 12-8, 4-4 in the Pac-12 while Washington moves to 14-6, 4-3.
The Huskies did major damage on the boards, outrebounding CU by a 50-34 margin. That work on the glass helped the Huskies overcome an 18-9 deficit in the first eight minutes of the game.
