The story of the Colorado Rockies 6-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday night was simple: pitching and hitting.

German Marquez worked six strong innings and Trevor Story socked a three-run home run in the fourth inning to give the Rockies plenty of offense.

Marquez allowed two runs on two hits with a pair of walks and six strikeouts. Story finished 2-3 with three RBIs. Charlie had two hits, including his seventh home run, and two RBIs.
