The Colorado Rockies hit thiree home runs and Chad Bettis pitched five solid innings in a 7-4 win over the San Diego Padres Monday night at Petco Park in San Diego.

Ian Desmond, Charlie Blackmon, D.J. LeMahieu all went deep as the Rockies banged out 12 hits. 

Bettis lasted five innings in his first start of the season. He gave up two runs on five hits with four walks and four strikeouts.

After two straight losses to the Diamondbacks to start the season, the Rockies have won their last two games. Game two against the Padres is Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
