They love L.A. A lot.

The Colorado Rockies finished off a big three-game sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers with an 8-0 win on Sunday at Dodger Stadium.

Tyler Chatwood worked five scoreless innings, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out five. He picked up his first win since June 8 against the Cubs.

The Rockies broke the game open with a five-run eighth inning. Mark Reynolds highlighted the inning with a grand slam. Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story also homered for the Rockies.

The Rockies swept a four-game series at Dodger Stadium for only the second time in their history. The only other four-game sweep of the Dodgers in Los Angeles was in the Rockies' inaugural season of 1993. It's the Rockies third-ever four-game sweep of the Dodgers.

The Dodgers have lost ten consecutive games and 15 of their last 16.

The Rockies now travel to Phoenix for a four-game set against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Game one is Monday night at 7:05 p.m. MDT on 630 KHOW.

Arizona is five games ahead of Colorado in the race for the first National League wild card spot. The Rockies, in turn, have a three game lead over the Cardinals and Brewers for the second N.L. wild card.
