The Denver Broncos begin training camp on Thursday. And they'll do so without running back Devontae Booker.

KOA NewsRadio has confirmed that Booker is expected to miss six weeks with a wrist injury.

Pro Football Talk first reported the story. How he might have sustained the injury is not known.

The Broncos selected Booker out of the University of Utah in the fourth round of the 2016 draft. on THursday, head coach Vance Joseph said while rb jamall charles has been cmedically cleared for camp, the teamwill bring him along slowly.

booker's injury likely means an increased workload for this year's sixth round pick deangelo hednerson from coastal carolin.
